Key events summary

  • IT professionals, with more than 60 years of proven success in the application of state-of-the-art information technology, incorporated DataFlow in 1994.

  • From March, 1996 through February, 2001, DataFlow operated a General Services Administration contract through its former joint venture. During 2000 GSA released a nationally-competed solicitation  to provide a range of information technology support services to federal agencies in Alaska  and early in 2001 awarded the resultant contract to DataFlow.

  • In 1999 the U. S. Small Business Administration certified the company for participation in its Sec. 8(a) program and, concurrently, as a Small Disadvantaged Business. The designations provided the framework for DataFlow's accelerated expansion in the federal Government's IT and professional services support sectors.

  • In 2004 the General Services Administration awarded its new Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services contract GS-06F-0212Z to DataFlow. Popularly known as 8(a) STARS, this GWAC is available to all federal agencies worldwide. Task orders may be awarded to DataFlow within all 8 Functional Areas (see www.gsa.gov/8astars). Currently, the contract is in its first Option Period, through June 1, 2009.

  • In 2007 the company entered into an agreement with Teya Technologies, LLC to provide unlimited threshold sole-source contracting availability to federal clients.

  • DataFlow/R&D has performed two research and development grants awarded by the National Science Foundation.  The company expects its product development activity to grow significantly during the next several years, funded by both grants and private investment.  In 2006 DataFlow launched its automated biological pattern recognition spinoff, Biopar, LLC.
